Planning senior photos can feel overwhelming. As someone who’s survived my own awkward teen photos (and somehow lived to tell the tale), I completely understand! From picking outfits to figuring out locations, it can feel like a lot. That’s why I’m here to make your senior photography experience fun, stress-free, and fun. From your first inquiry to receiving your final gallery & photo products, I’ll guide you step by step so you never feel lost or unsure of what comes next.
The Initial Inquiry
You just took the first step and reached out—YAY! I’m so excited that you’re considering me as your senior photographer. That truly means so much, and it’s something I never take lightly.
You’ll get an automated message right away with basic info about my senior photography sessions because I know waiting can be stressful. But don’t worry, you’ll also hear from me personally shortly after. I might be sending it while juggling my toddler and my never-ending to-do list, but I’ll make sure to get to you asap!

Session Planning & Styling Guidance for Your Senior Photography Experience
Once we’ve nailed down a date and time for your senior session, we’ll move into planning the fun stuff: outfits, locations, and props that make your senior photography experience personalized to you. I like to keep this simple because I know how easy it is to get overwhelmed when senior year is already super busy.
If you don’t already have a location in mind, I’ll share my favorite spots in West Bend or nearby areas based on your style and vision. We’ll pick somewhere that feels natural for you and fits your vibe.
When it comes to outfits, I keep things easy. You’ll get a styling guide, plus a full Amazon shopping list so you can grab items quickly. Unsure about your choices? I’m always here to help one-on-one. Even small decisions can feel like a lot, and my goal is to keep your senior photography experience stress-free.
The In-Between Time
After your session is booked, you’re not left hanging. This time is all about making sure you feel prepared, supported, and confident.
I’ll send helpful reminders as your session gets closer, check in beforehand, and make sure you have all the details, including your location info. Everything is designed so that when your session day arrives, you can just show up, relax, and enjoy being in front of the camera.
The Photography Session
The big day is finally here. You’re doing your hair and makeup, thinking about outfits, getting everything together, and trying not to be late. I get it. Been there, done that.
From the moment you arrive, I want you to feel completely at ease. My senior sessions are fun, laid-back, and designed so you don’t have to stress about a thing. We’ll play your favorite genre of music on my portable speaker and wander around the location to find the perfect spots! Want to bring your skateboard, guitar, or car? Please do. I love when seniors show their personalities and hobbies because it makes the session so much more fun.
While we cover all the “stand there and smile at the camera” poses, we’ll also mix in plenty of movement to keep things relaxed and natural. I’ll probably get you laughing by saying or doing something totally off the wall, so be prepared for that.

Editing, Proofing, and Selecting Your Images
Within one week, you’ll receive an online proof gallery with lightly edited images to choose your favorites. You’ll also have the option to select additional a la carte items like prints, albums, or digital files.
Once you’ve picked your favorites, I’ll carefully edit each image to perfection. Your final gallery will be delivered within 2–3 weeks, and any albums or prints will arrive shortly after.
