I debated writing this because I never want to take away from another photographer or their client experience. There are so many talented photographers out there, and everyone runs their business differently. But there is something really important about feeling comfortable with your photographer—and knowing you’re fully taken care of from start to finish.

That’s something I’m super intentional about with my clients as a family and senior photographer in West Bend, Wisconsin, serving families and high school seniors throughout West Bend and surrounding areas.

I’m very Type A (in the best way 😉) and I overcommunicate on purpose. I never want you lying in bed the night before your session wondering:

• “What’s next?”
• “What should I expect?”
• “Where am I going again… and when did I book this for?”

You will always know what’s going on. Always.

When you book with me, you’ll receive an email packed with helpful details—location ideas in West Bend and nearby southeastern Wisconsin locations, outfit guidance, how to prep yourself and your family, and exactly what to expect before we even meet. If you’re feeling unsure about where to go, I’ll help you choose the best location for your photos. If you don’t know what to wear, I’ve got you covered there too. And throughout it all, you’ll receive reminder emails so nothing ever feels confusing or forgotten.

Once that email hits your inbox, you also get one-on-one support from me. You’re never just another name on my calendar.

And here’s the deal… when you show up to your session, it’s going to be fun.

I’ll be chatting with you the entire time, and I will 100% do something goofy to get your kids—or you—to laugh. If you’re a senior and you feel awkward in front of the camera, trust me… I’m going to get you laughing, even if it means doing something completely off-the-wall. I never want anyone to feel stiff, uncomfortable, or unsure of what to do. I hope you leave your session feeling the same way Sam and her family felt: “We all left going ‘wow, that was so fun!'”

Getting your photos taken should feel like celebrating yourself or your family. It shouldn’t feel stressful or intimidating.
