Felicity’s One-Year Milestone Session in Studio

Felicity came in for her one-year milestone session in studio in Cedarburg. Her mom and her grandma on her mom’s side came along, so it was a small, cozy group. Felicity had so much energy, and we kept things short and playful. She explored the studio, and we made it easy for her by singing some of her favorite songs and dancing around with maracas. That got her moving, laughing, and interacting naturally. Her mom and grandma joined in, which made the session fun and comfortable. Even in a short session, we captured plenty of moments that the family will love forever.

Following Felicity’s Lead

Felicity didn’t want to sit still—and that’s exactly what makes these sessions work. We went with her pace. A few posed shots here and there, but mostly we let her move, explore, and play. Singing songs, shaking maracas, and laughing together kept her engaged. Her mom and grandma helped encourage her, which made the session flow naturally. This approach made it fun for everyone and gave the family photos that feel real and relaxed. My families never have to worry about their kids “behaving” during our time together!
