Jeralyn & Zach’s Lake Geneva Wedding

When a friend reached out to photograph their Lake Geneva wedding, there was absolutely no way I could say no!!! Jeralyn & Zach picked a stunning location to hold their wedding and what better way to celebrate their love than on steamboat Louise built in 1926!

The day began with capturing the “getting ready” portion of the day where mimosas & laughs were shared among the ladies and beers & stories were shared amongst the guys. Once Jeralyn arrived at the boat, we hid her in the small bathroom (sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do) so we could sneak Zach on deck without seeing his beautiful bride-to-be before the ceremony.

As soon as Zach was on the upper deck along with all the other friends & family, we set out across the lake! Once we arrived in the middle, Jeralyn accompanied by her Dad, walked down the aisle to Zach and Jers song. The moment was surreal. Two people who have known one another for years had looked at one another now like they were seeing each other for the first time. Zach started to cry as his beautiful bride walked toward him down the aisle. The ceremony was absolutely breathtaking and many tears were shed. But there were also some humorous moments as well where everyone shared a good laugh.

After the ceremony, party time ensued and everything after that became a blur of fun and dancing. The night was nothing short of stunning and it ended at a bar local to where Zach & Jer live. It made for a seamless end to their perfect day! And…the rest is history ;)
